In a theater the ratio of car & two wheeler is 1:8. Total Number of lyres are 100. Find how many are cars and how many are two wheelers?

Answer:

car/2wheeler=1/8,suppose car be X & 2wheeler be Y

X/Y=1/8; Y=8X also there r 4 tyre in 1 car & 2 tyre in 1 two wheeler ;

therefore 4X + 2Y=100

Solving these 2 eq. X=5 & Y=40.
